1. Driver Improvement
- Satisfy court or judge's order.

2. Insurance Discount Only
- You may be eligible for an insurance discount by completing our defensive driving course. Discounts, if any, vary from insurer to insurer. Please check with your insurance company before taking our course.
- The course is for insurance discount only and is not intended to be taken for ticket dismissal unless specifically approved by the court.
- This course is intended for all licensed drivers up to age
50. Mature drivers (age
50
or older) must complete a mature driver course.
3. Mature Driver Improvement
- You may obtain a discount (determined by your insurer) on your auto insurance premium by completing a driver improvement course. The amount of the discount varies by insurance company. Check with your insurance agent to see the discount available to you.
- The discount is effective for
3 years.
- This course is intended for all licensed mature drivers age
50
and older. Drivers under the age of
50
must complete an insurance discount only course.
4. Driver Education

How It Works
Get everything done in four easy steps!
1. Register
Registration is fast and easy -- only two minutes! Create a username and password. Use your username and password to access the course as often as you want. We provide an unlimited number of logins.
2. Complete the Course
Our course consists of lecture material and interactive media. You can complete the course at your own pace, though some courses have minimum required times for each lesson. Each time you login, we automatically take you to where you last left off.
3. Pass the Exam
For Driver Improvement and Insurance Discount Only: Our online exam consists of multiple-choice questions and requires about 10-15 minutes to complete. Most people pass the exam the first time. However, you can take the exam as often as necessary without any additional charge.
For Driver Education Only: Our online exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, and you must score at least 75% to pass. You are allowed 3 attempts to pass the final exam; however, you are only allowed one attempt per 24-hour period. Per Ohio's rules, if you fail the final exam on your third attempt, you must start the course over from the beginning.
For Abbreviated Adult Driver Training Only: Our online exam consists of 20 multiple-choice questions, and you must score at least 75% to pass. You are allowed 3 attempts to pass the final exam; however, you are only allowed one attempt per 24-hour period. Per Ohio's rules, if you fail the final exam on your third attempt, you must start the course over from the beginning.
4. Get Your Certificate
For Driver Improvement: If the court that referred you to take our course provided you with an access code that you were required to input at registration, then your court will retrieve your completion information electronically from us. We will email you
when your court has retrieved your completion information. You may also print a copy of your certificate for your records.
If you did not receive an access code from your court and you were not required to input an access code upon registration, then you must sign your certificate and send it to your court. You can print your certificate online immediately after passing the final exam.
For Insurance Discount Only: You can print your certificate online immediately after passing the final exam. You must sign the certificate and send it to your insurance company.
For Driver Education and Abbreviated Adult Driver Training Only: The Certificate of Completion will be emailed to you after you complete the course.
