The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and your citation probably refer to a traffic course as a "Driver Safety Course" while the Texas Department of Public Safety refers to it as a "Defensive Driving Course." Both groups are referring to the same thing! Safe2Drive is approved by the TDLR to offer a 6-hour online Texas defensive driving course that will dismiss a ticket from your record, provided that the court allows that option for you.
You can verify our school license on the TDLR website here. Select "License Search," "Search by Name," and then select "Search by Organization" and enter "Safe2Drive."
