COVID has been hard on many of us, and teenagers are no exception. Everything that was familiar a year ago may feel far away, but there are still milestones teens can experience safely even during the pandemic. One of the biggest moments of a teen’s life is when they finally get to learn how to drive. We want Florida teens to experience the excitement of earning their learner’s permit, even with everything going on in the world today. That’s why we’re offering the Florida Permit Test (also known as the Class E Knowledge Exam) online!
Florida residents at least 14 years old and under age 18 can skip the headache of taking the permit test at the DHSMV and take it online instead, from the comfort and safety of their own home. It’s easy to register for the Florida permit test online. The test is 50 multiple-choice questions on road signs and traffic laws. You have to answer 40 questions correctly in order to pass, and you have 60 minutes to complete the exam.
You’re allowed three attempts to pass the exam, and there’s no required waiting period between attempts (so you can immediately retake the exam if you need to). You’ll find out your test score instantly upon completion! If you fail the third attempt, however, you’ll need to retake the test at the DHSMV.
If you haven’t taken the Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education course yet, you can take that online, too! The TLSAE course is a 4-hour course for anyone who hasn’t earned their driver’s license, and it’s required in order to apply for a Class E Learner’s License in Florida. We can actually bundle the permit test and the TLSAE course so you can take them together at a discount!
We hope you’ll consider taking the Florida Permit Test online with Safe2Drive! Please visit our website for more information, or to register for the course now!
