requirement for a ticket you got in Sonoma County. Safe2Drive is licensed by the California DMV, and completion certificates
are accepted at the Hall of Justice located at 600 Administration Drive in Santa Rosa.
Courtesy Notice
If you have received a traffic citation, a courtesy notice will be mailed to you at the address on the citation. The courtesy notice includes the bail amount for this citation,
the due date when payment must be made, eligibility for Traffic Violator School (TVS), how to pay, and when to report if you would like to appear in court. Please call the traffic court
if you do not receive a courtesy notice within 6 weeks of receiving the citation.
Eligibility for Traffic School
Review the notice (front and back). It will also tell you if you are eligible for traffic school and what to do.
Clear Your Ticket with Traffic School
Sign-up with the court and attend traffic violator school (TVS), if eligible. DMV-licensed classrooms, home study, and online internet classes are available throughout California. Attending TVS will mean that your ticket will be masked (hidden). NOTE: If you are eligible and decide not to attend traffic violator school, your automobile insurance may be adversely affected. See below for further information regarding traffic violator school.
Taking Our Course
There are three easy steps: (1) register (2) complete the course, and (3) pass the exam. Click on your court on this web page and register to get started. The course is straightforward and easy to get done. At the end there will be a short exam. We will automatically send your completion notice to your court within minutes after you pass the exam. The exam is easy, and you can take it as many times
as necessary at no extra charge. Most people, however, pass the first time. We will automatically send your certificate to the court within minutes after you finish. We will also email your Receipt of Completion to you for your records. You can also print a copy from your account.
