California Traffic School in Tehama County
Drivers who get a ticket in Tehama County can take our traffic school
to get that ticket masked (hidden). We are licensed by the California DMV. By competing traffic school, you keep points off your
record. Safe2Drive notifies the court you completed traffic school the same day you finish.
Court Locations
Tehama Superior Court has two traffic locations where you may take care of a traffic ticket: Red Bluff and Corning. Red Bluff is at 445 Pine Street in Red Bluff, while Corning is
720 Hoag Street in Corning. The court location to which your case is assigned is listed on your ticket.
Courtesy Notice
You will receive a courtesy notice in the mail within three weeks of getting a ticket. The courtesy notice will indicate how much you
will need to pay, the due date if your violation was an infraction, or the scheduled mandatory Court appearance date if your violation was a misdemeanor.
The notice will also contain information regarding traffic school eligibility, and any proof of correction requirements needed to clear the citation.
If you do not receive your courtesy notice within three weeks, call the phone number on your ticket.
Date on Bottom of Ticket
This is most commonly your court date or appearance date. It is the date by which you must take care of the ticket.
If your citation is an infraction, the date at the bottom is a date by which this citation must be paid,
or you must make arrangements to appear. If your citation includes any misdemeanor violations, you must appear in court on that date and time.
Eligibility for Traffic School
Your courtesy notice will tell you if you are eligible for traffic school. The eligibility is determined as follows:
You have a valid driver's license; you have not attended traffic school for a citation issued within the past 18 months of the present citation (violation date to violation date);
you have not failed to appear under Vehicle Code section 40508(a), unless the failure-to-appear charge has been adjudicated and
all fees and fines paid; you are charged only with infractions that do not have a point count of more than one point under Vehicle Code section 12810;
you were not cited for any charge involving alcohol or drug use or possession; you were not charged with exceeding a speed limit by more than 25 miles per hour.
Request Traffic School
You will receive a letter granting you permission to attend traffic school
and continuing your case 60 days for the class to be completed.
The court accepts traffic school or online traffic school accredited by the state of California.
