Arizona Defensive Driving
Overview
Take our defensive driving course to get your ticket diverted or to satisfy a court requirement for defensive driving. Our course is 100% approved by the Arizona Supreme Court.
Note: We do NOT offer the Traffic Survival Program. We only offer Defensive Driving School (a.k.a. Traffic School).
How It Works

- Get your Receipt of Completion.
Register
Registration is fast and easy. Simply create a username and password. You will use your username and password to access the course as often as you want.
We provide an unlimited number of logins.

Pay
See the cost to attend. We offer several convenient payment options: Credit card online, credit card by phone, or check by mail. You will need to pay before you start the course.
There are several fees associated with the Arizona Defensive Driving course:
- Course fee
- Processing fee
- State fee
- State surcharge
- Court diversion fee
Safe2Drive collects the state and court fees and sends those to the state and court respectively.
Complete the Course
As per Arizona requirements, our course is 4 hours in length. It consists of sixteen lessons, including fun, interactive material and videos. You can complete the course at your own pace: a little at a time or all in one sitting.
Each time you log in, we automatically take you to where you last left off.
There is a quiz at the end of each lesson. Quizzes consist of 3 multiple-choice questions that are related to traffic safety issues covered in the lesson. You must score 100% on each quiz to pass and proceed to the next lesson.
Get Your Receipt of Completion
We will email you your Receipt of Completion after completing the course.
You can also print a copy online from your account. If you do not have access to a printer and need a hard copy of your Receipt of Completion, please contact us.
We would be more than happy to mail you a copy.
We also notify the court electronically within 1 business day of you completing the course.
The courts do not process the completion in their system until they have received the payment.
Please be assured that the court will process your completion using the date you completed the course, not the date that they process the completion.
Be sure to check with the court 7-10 business days after completing the course to ensure they have processed your completion.
