1. Defensive Driving

• Satisfies Court Requirement for a Level 1 defensive driving program.
• Available for select courts in Clark, Columbia, Douglas, Grays Harbor, King, Kittitas, and Lewis counties.
• Other counties pending approval. Please check back soon.

2. Insurance Discount

• Obtain a discount on your auto insurance premium.
• Check with your insurance company to make sure they give discounts.
• This course is intended for all licensed drivers up to age 55. Mature drivers (age 55 or older) must complete a mature driver course.

How It Works

Get everything done in four easy steps!

1. Register

Registration is fast and easy -- only two minutes! Create a username and password. Use your username and password to access the course as often as you want. We provide an unlimited number of logins.

2. Complete the Course

Our course consists of lecture material and interactive media. The course is designed so that you can proceed at your own pace. You can go as slowly as you like. You also can go as quickly as you like - up to a point. There is a minimum amount of time you must spend on each lesson. Each time you login, we automatically take you to where you last left off.

3. Pass the Exam

For Court-ordered and Insurance Discount: You must pass an exam at the end. Take the exam online immediately after you finish the course. You receive your grade immediately. Most people pass the exam the first time. However, you can take the exam as many times as necessary -- there is no extra charge.

4. Get Your Certificate

For Defensive Driving:

All courts EXCEPT Bothell Municipal Court, Lake Forest Park Municipal Court, Lewis County District Court and Renton Municipal Court: We will send the certificate to the court the same day you finish, if you finish by 3PM PST Monday-Friday. Otherwise, we will mail it on the next business day. You can also print a copy online for your records.

For Bothell Municipal Court, Lake Forest Park Municipal Court, Lewis County District Court and Renton Municipal Court: We will send the certificate to you. You sign it and send it to the court.

For Insurance Discount: You must sign the certificate and send it to your insurance company.

We normally send certificates via First-Class Mail (by 3PM PST, Monday-Friday), which typically takes 3-7 business days. We also offer FedEx Overnight and FedEx 2-Day in the event you need your certificate delivered sooner. There is no charge for First-Class delivery; there is a charge for FedEx. FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
